Climbing at SPIRE Rock

Olympia Mountaineers climbing course at SPIRE Rock.  A little wet, but so glad we missed tonight's downpour.

About me

I'm an Air Force pilot and hobby photographer. I love my family, the outdoors, flying, astronomy . . . and photographing all of them.

About My Photography

This blog is a place for displaying my photography. I'm a hobbyist, not a professional, and I shoot strictly for fun. In addition to shooting what I love - family, landscapes, outdoor sports, astrophotography, and aviation - I'll also shoot portraits for free. Just ask.

The Legal Stuff

Unless noted, all of my photos are original work and are copyrighted in accordance with the US Copyright Act. That said, photography is my hobby, not my livelihood, and I generally freely allow personal use. The lack of a watermark on a photo is implied consent to download and print for personal use. Photos with watermarks are available for personal web use - just please don't remove the watermarked name and web address. My photos are not available for commercial use without express permission. Also please don't enter them in contests without my knowledge. But again, I'm not stingy - just ask first. Also, if you want a larger resolution copy for print (bigger than 5 x 7), just ask. Finally, if Walmart or any other photo lab hassles you for a copyright release to print, ask and I'll email you one. I'll generally include this with any portrait shoot.
