So I thought the "Warning: Alligators" signs on the golf course were just to discourage people from fishing golf balls out of the lakes; Guess I was wrong.  Spotted this fellow lurking a few yards off shore:

Week Four in Montgomery - Play Ball

Really, really pleased with my new lens, the 70-200mm F/4 telephoto.  Took it to a AA league game here - the Montgomery Biscuits vs the Pensacola Blue Wahoos.  Yep.  Good opportunity to shoot some sports.  The local Montgomery paper had a photog there shooting the game so I pulled up the article to see his pics.  I thought my little camera held its own.  Judge for yourselves HERE. 

    

My favorite shot of the night.  I used to play outfield, and this definitely conveys the feeling.
